Your Donations Matter to Students like Silvana

SoM provides performance opportunities in a safe, supportive environment, helping students build confidence and explore creativity. Everyone deserves their moment in the spotlight with professional sound, lighting, and the chance to try something new.

Silvana Gomez’s journey at SoM has transformed her relationship with music. Initially unsure, she joined our summer camps and quickly fell in love with the space, instruments, the warm people, and the constant buzz of creativity. Silvana started with guitar “I always said that I wouldn’t sing in front of people” but the support from her mom, teachers and peers helped her gain confidence. Now she writes and performs her original songs! At our first open mic of the year, Silvana performed her song “As I Go On,” captivating the audience. We’re so proud of her growth and excited for what’s next!
