In Loving Memory of Dr. Daniel Sakari Mahlberg (1975–2025)

The Sarah McLachlan School of Music community is devastated to learn of the passing of Dr. Daniel Sakari Mahlberg.

Daniel’s passion for music extended into every corner of his life, and he believed deeply in its power to build community and foster human connection. Daniel’s dedication to music aligned closely with the purpose of the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, where he once served as an instructor. Our school's mission to create inclusive communities of musical learning reflects Daniel's values.

Dr. Mahlberg asked that, instead of flowers, people who wished to honour his memory consider a gift in his memory to the School of Music.
